I know it's REALLY early to be asking, but I missed this year due to not knowing about it and would love to attend next year. Are there any talks about it?

i got one e-mail about NOT getting into a workshop I requested, and a generic e-mail about some workshops that people got into if they requested, but I don't recall the titles of the ones I actually requested. i looked up the list of previous requests, but only one of them shows up on the list, the rest just have "select..." Is there a way I can check what workshops I actually got into?

I was wondering if there was anyone coming in Thursday night to the airport who would want to meet up and ride to the hotel with me. I get hopelessly lost in unfamiliar settings and even with the excellent directions on the site I'm a little nervous about taking the Light Rail on my own.

I'm also open to sharing a cab if someone wants to skip the Light Rail and go more directly - it's about $30 with tip from what I can gather.

Anyone interested? I'm getting in around 8:30-9:00 pm, depending on the whims of the airlines.

Will there be a library of fanfic in the hospitality suite this year? And if so, what are the guidelines?

Sooo, do folks generally put their "screen names" on their badges? Does anyone know? Cause I don't wanna be "Mere Ubu" and then feel like a doofus when everyone else is like, "Hi, my name is Susan." Any advice in this matter would be appreciated.

I'm very interested in attending this event, but I can't seriously consider it unless I possibly win one of the scholarship lotteries to help pay for it. When will the results be announced? Do I already have to commit (booked flights, hotel reservations, con membership) and be there to find out if I've won assistance? I'm a little confused as to the timing of these things.

I know it's a little early yet, a few months early, but I'm planning to attend and I want to make sure I can afford it and know what's going on before I make official plans.

Are there plans for "official" dinners at the hotel? Or are we mostly going to be on our own? I guess that would easily answer my question. And, if we're on our own, does anyone know of any cheap restaurants in the area. Sadly, I know there's no Subway, and that's my favorite place to write, for some odd reason. I'm weird, I know.

Anyway, any info anyone has would be great, and don't worry if you have nothing yet, since I know I'm early in asking. Thanks!
