This has been an especially tough year for trying to plan life in advance, so it turns out we've had three people who were planning to attend Writercon 09 but were forced to change their plans. They've generously asked that their badges be passed on to someone else who could use them.

So, if you live in or near Minneapolis and would love to attend but don't have the funds for a membership badge -- or if you have a friend who'd enjoy Writercon who's in a similar position -- we're taking names and will be holding a drawing Sunday at 6 p.m. EDT.

Comment to the Writercon LJ post with your RL name and email address -- comments will be screened. You don't have to have an LJ to comment; "anonymous" comments are allowed (but we still want your name and email address, of course).

Badge recipients will be responsible for their own travel, meal and hotel (should they choose to stay at the con hotel) costs.
