I make no promises, but I'm curious if there would be any value in having people at key points along the route between the airport(s) and the hotel. A) it would depend on there being times where there are enough people coming within the same time frame to make the time commitment worthwhile for the volunteers, B) there being enough volunteers, and C) having time to coordinate it enough in advance.

So as a first step to sort that all out, I thought, "Time to do a poll!" That does mean the poll is at the Livejournal site here. You should be able to take the poll via open id if you do not have a livejournal.
