i got one e-mail about NOT getting into a workshop I requested, and a generic e-mail about some workshops that people got into if they requested, but I don't recall the titles of the ones I actually requested. i looked up the list of previous requests, but only one of them shows up on the list, the rest just have "select..." Is there a way I can check what workshops I actually got into?
Emmalyn, I'll email you the
Emmalyn, I'll email you the workshop list, and I will check the waitlist for the one you received. You should see it this morning! We will have the pre-registration lists available at registration, as well as additional signups. in the event that minds change. I'm not sure if the website shows signups (not the tech team!), but this should handle the problem!
Workshops
I need to find this out too, because I didn't write down what I was requesting, since at the time, I thought I'd be getting some kind of email confirmation about which of my choices I got into.
Is there somewhere we can look it up?

Sassy, I'll email you as well
Sassy, I'll email you as well as Emmalyn. I don't know if there is a way for users to see from the website, but I have the workshop charts in hand and can send right along.
Workshop Signups
There were only three workshops that filled up: Weird Americana, Inner Lives I and II, and Writers' Salon. For the others, you can just show up at con (whether or not you signed up online in advance). The online signups were so that moderators could get an idea of how many people to expect and to communicate with them in advance if necessary for the particular content of that workshop.
In other words, if you signed up for Weird Americana, Inner Lives I and II, or Writers' Salon, you were notified about whether you got in or are on the wait list. For any others, just show up at con. You'll have priority if you signed up online already, but you'll probably get in anyway unless the room is full. (We'll have printouts of the advanced signups at con so you can check if your name is on the list.)
BTW, for anyone who is concerned: the vast majority of our programming consists of panels that are open to everyone, not workshops--there is never a situation where your only choice is closed workshop. View the programming schedule here.
Thank you! This helps a lot.
Thank you! This helps a lot. I know it was my own stupidity for not making note of what I requested, but it's good to know that won't screw anyone up in the end.
I'm really looking forward to it!
