All Writercon attendees must be over the age of 18 by the start of the convention: July 30, 2009.

If you'll be over 18 but under 21, you are welcome to attend. Your badge will have a notice on it to make sure we don't serve alcohol to you.

You can view our 2006 and 2004 schedules to get an idea of the convention times.

We generally have an informal kickoff party and social activities on Thursday afternoon and evening, while official programming begins Friday morning. Programming ends Sunday evening, with more informal gatherings and parties Sunday night.

Register an account and check the box labeled "Definitely Attending Writercon 2009."

If you've already registered, please log in, select "My Account" then "Edit." Click "Writercon Attendance" (it's in an interior tab near the top of the center section of the page) and check the box labeled "Definitely Attending Writercon 2009."

Log in to the Writercon website, then click "My account" in the right navigation column. Click "Edit" to edit your profile.

Upload your userpic on the main "Account" page under "Picture."

To edit the rest of your profile, look at the interior tab options (they're near the top of the center section of the page).

* Click "About" to add your bio and fandoms.
* Click "Links" to add your journal and website.
* Click "Writercon Attendance" to set your Writercon 2009 attendance status.
